Industrial Rock Music Crosses Over to Recovery In a GOOD way
Electro-rock has nearly always been darker, more negative, yet this is beginning to change. There is this sick recovery rock I stumbled across by Matt Soren recently that has a different perspective on industrial music. His project is a mix of industrial rock and the story of beating addiction.
There are some music downloads on his site at www.returnfrombroken.com. It looks like they are raw versions while finishing official mixes. They sound really good to me but I am no audiophile. It is cool to find more music like this written particularly for addiction recovery in a more kickin way from an addict that has already been through it and is making a difference for others in addiction. It’s nice to have this type of rock stemming from the industrial outlet which is typically more negative in nature.
Oh yeah, he has free songs you can get from his music page and more in his back extras page which is free. I also saw discounts, album art, and other things it looks like he’ll be adding. It will be nice to get the album once it is finished. Good stuff!
